My research interests lie in between the worlds of narrative, empowerment, violence prevention and creative methods.
In my PhD (2015), I engaged with stories of people searching for their parents as well as society’s stories about them. In March 2022, as part of International Women’s Day Celebration in Jerusalem, Israel hosted by MyPwr Inc, I told a story about what happens when you knock on the door of a father you never met, and how right people at the right time are worth their weight in gold.
As part of Narrative Inquiry Centre at University of Bristol (now Artful Narrative Inquiry Network or ANI-Net) I explored the present and presence through collaborative writing.
As researcher for Women’s Voice Bristol (2017) , I tackled some facets of street harassment.
As a Head of Violence Prevention Measurements commission (2021), funded by Association of Empowerment Self Defence Professionals, I created a report on various means to measure the success and effectiveness of violence prevention programme.
I looked into what happens Beyond the Rape, and empowering narratives of those who fought to survive.
Last and often least, I wrote about death and grief (2021) in Borrowed Time collection.
